Ed Klein passed away on November 8,2016. Ed had been in poor health for many years.He was an early investor in and advocate of. community psychology as well as a disciple of group relations theory and practice.He was a fellow of the A.K.Rice Institute and worked as a faculty member of Yale University and the University of Cincinatti.He is the first of us( Octogenarians) to leave the trail before becoming nonogenarians.He will be missed.

I watched the Trolling Trumpeter insult his hoi poloi followers,telling them that he liked billionaires since they knew how to make money , that he didn’t need their votes anymore,and that he’d come back to them in four years.(maybe)The enchanted will say that he was joking but he looked dead serious to me.It brought back G.K.Chestertons satirical essays about human followership, leadership follies with Sunday being an ape of some sort I believe, and the Red headed League being a conspiracy of illusions.

There appears to be increasing concern about the President elect’s psyche,largely based on behavior such as the above but also because of the nature of his appointments.There need be no concern on the part of the faithful because the plans for impeachment prepared for Hilary Clinton will serve quite well for the Trolling Trumpeter should any of his promises to the hoi poloi have meaning and possible…

In the face of an imminent Clinton victory the GOP made it clear that non cooperation and preparing an impeachment process was to be its strategy.This was to be a continuation of the behavior that left Obama overly dependent on executive orders and subsequent hippocritical accusations of imperial presidency.Now there are calls for unity and cooperation as Trumps due.Looking at what cooperation is being asked for,we see undoing of Obamacare with no concept of a replacenent. Rewriting of Medicare with a voucher system and the return of ineligible prexisting conditions,privatization of social security etc.
The hoopla surrounding Carrier corporations’potential replacement of 1400 jobs becomes 1000 saved 400 lost with a deal promised ( unknown content)by still governor Pence.Looking at the billionaires being put into positions of power makes us wonder if the populist candidate was “Smoke and Mirrors”If we’ve been conned by a pitchman,to whom is an opposition being loyal…
